Duskhold never requires an account, but the moment you host or join co-op, open ALLIES or the
Account panel, a guest player exists at Unity Gaming Services — and you may have linked it to
Sign in with Apple or Google Play Games. Either kind can be deleted in two ways.
1. In the game (immediate)
Open Settings (the gear at the top right of the main menu).
Tap PRIVACY & ACCOUNT.
Tap DELETE ACCOUNT, then tap it again to confirm.
The game removes your presence, every ally, pending request and block, unlinks Apple or Play
Games, deletes the Unity player and signs the device out. If the connection drops halfway, the
game finishes the job the next time it starts. When it is done you see "Account deleted".
2. Without the app (by e-mail, within 30 days)
If you have uninstalled the game, or the in-app path failed, send us a request. We need the
28-character Player ID, because a player name alone could belong to someone else
and we will not delete an account on a name.
If the game is still installed: Settings → PRIVACY & ACCOUNT → COPY ID
puts the ID on your clipboard.
Send an e-mail to rld.ranger07@gmail.com
with the subject "Delete my Duskhold account" and the Player ID in the body.
Say whether you played on the App Store or Google Play version.
We delete the account within 30 days of receiving a valid request and reply
to the same address when it is done. If the ID is missing we will ask for it; if you no longer
have it (the game is gone and the ID was never copied), see "Orphaned guest players" below.
What is deleted
Your Unity player and its player name and tag.
The link to your Apple ID or Google Play Games account held by Unity Authentication.
Your ally list, sent and received requests, blocks and presence at Unity Friends. Your
allies simply stop seeing you.
Reports you filed (Cloud Save entries under your player).
The session stored on your device.
What is not deleted, and why
Progress on your device. Campaign progress, equipment and research live only
on the phone and are never uploaded. Deleting the account leaves them in place; use
Settings → RESET PROGRESS or uninstall the app to remove them.
Reports other players filed about you stay until they are handled, at most
12 months, because we need them to enforce the community rules.
They contain a player ID and name, no more.
Your Apple ID's own record of Duskhold. Apple keeps a list of apps you have
used with Sign in with Apple. Remove Duskhold there under iOS Settings → your name → Sign in
with Apple → Duskhold → Stop using Apple Account (see
Apple's guide). We cannot do this for
you.
Your Google Play Games profile belongs to Google and is managed in the Play
Games app; Duskhold's game data inside it is removed by Google when you clear it there.
Advertising data already collected by Google AdMob is governed by Google's
own retention and your device's advertising-ID reset.
Purchase receipts stay with Apple / Google for as long as the stores keep them; we hold
none.
Orphaned guest players
A guest player that was never signed in is tied to your phone only through a token stored in
the app. If you uninstall without deleting, that token is gone and the guest player cannot be
recovered or claimed on a new install — not by you and not by us. What remains at Unity is a
random ID with a player name, no allies that can reach you (presence goes offline for good), and
no personal data behind it. If you can still tell us the Player ID we delete it on request; if
not, it stays as an unreachable record until Unity's own inactive-player clean-up.
The same applies to a guest player left behind by USE MY OLD ACCOUNT (when the
Apple ID or Play Games account you signed in with already belonged to another Duskhold player):
the game keeps that guest's ID and shows it under PRIVACY & ACCOUNT as "Unused guest …" until
it is deleted. Send us that ID by e-mail as above and we delete it.
