Duskhold is a game you can play entirely alone. The moment you pick a player name or add an
ally, other people can see what you chose, and these rules apply. The game shows a short version
of them before your first name change or ally action and asks you to accept; this page is the
full text.
1. Player names
A name is 3 to 16 characters: letters A–Z, digits and underscore. No spaces, no accented
or Turkish-specific letters, no symbols. The game appends a numeric tag
(Name#1234) that you cannot choose; the pair is your ally code.
The game checks every name on the device against a list of slurs, sexual and hateful
terms in English and Turkish, including spellings that swap letters for look-alike digits
or symbols. A name that fails is not saved. The list is not perfect; see reporting below.
Do not use a name that impersonates another person, a real organisation, or the developer
("Duskhold", "RLD", "admin", "moderator" and similar are refused).
Do not put anyone's personal information in a name — not yours, not anyone else's.
You can change your name from the Account panel. Changing it does not hide a rule break
that was already reported.
2. Allies, invites and presence
Ally requests go to a player you name by code. Sending repeated requests to a player who
has declined you, or creating players to get around a block, is harassment.
Invites are template messages: your name, the co-op code and the map. There is no free
text and no chat. Do not use the invite, the name or the hosting status as a channel for
anything else.
Your allies can see whether you are online, in battle or hosting. BLOCK anyone you would
rather not be seen by; a blocked player never sees your presence.
Co-op sessions run on the host's device. Modified clients, exploits that break a partner's
run, or deliberately griefing an ally's realm count as cheating.
3. Blocking
BLOCK is on every ally row and every incoming request. A blocked player is removed from your
allies, any request from them is deleted, they cannot send you a new request or an invite,
and they are not told.
The service allows ten blocks per player. When the list is full the game says so — unblock
someone from the BLOCKED section to block another.
Blocking is yours to decide and needs no report. Reporting does not require blocking.
4. Reporting
REPORT is on every ally row and every request; invites come only from accepted allies, so
the sender's row carries REPORT and BLOCK. Choose a reason — name, harassment, cheating,
other — and the report goes to the developer with the player's ID and name, where it
happened, when, an optional line you type, and your own player ID so we can reply. Nothing
else is sent.
Reports are read by a person and acted on within 72 hours of arrival. You
are not told the outcome, but a removed name or player stops appearing.
False or spam reports are themselves a rule break.
If the in-game REPORT cannot reach the server, the game opens your mail app with the same
details addressed to rld.ranger07@gmail.com.
You can also write to that address directly at any time.
5. What gets a player removed
Depending on severity, one of these happens, in this order for a first offence unless the
first is clearly not enough:
The name is reset to an automatically generated one.
The player's ally relationships and pending requests are cleared.
The player is deleted from the service. Deletion does not touch progress stored on the
device, so the game itself keeps working — only allies stop.
Immediate removal applies to sexual content involving minors, credible threats, and names or
behaviour targeting a person's race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or
disability. We may also report content to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
6. Purchases, ads and accounts
Gems and renown bought in the game are consumables for use inside Duskhold, have no cash
value and are not refundable by us; refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play
under their rules.
Rewarded ads are optional and never required to progress.
Accounts are optional. You may delete yours at any time — see
Delete your account. Progress on your device is separate
from the account and is not synced between devices.
7. The usual terms
Duskhold is provided as is, for personal entertainment. We may change or withdraw online
features (allies, co-op, ads, purchases) with reasonable notice; the single-player game keeps
working offline.
You must be 13 or older to use the online features.
Turkish law applies to these terms; consumers keep the protections of the country they live
in. If a court finds one clause invalid the rest still stand.
