Which version this describes: optional accounts, the allies list and in-game reporting arrive in version 1.1. In version 1.0 the game has no accounts and no allies screen, so the sections below about signing in, allies, reports and account deletion do not apply to it yet; everything else — the advertising and purchase sections — does.

Duskhold is a kingdom-defence game with an optional two-player co-op mode and an optional allies list. You never have to create an account to play. Single player, co-op by code, rewarded ads and purchases all work without signing in. Signing in exists for one reason: so that allies can find you by name and invite you into their realm.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Kaan İpek, an individual developer based in Türkiye, publishing as RLD Games. Contact: rld.ranger07@gmail.com. The Turkish version of this page contains the disclosure required by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

What stays on your device

Your campaign progress, settings, equipment, research, achievements and gems are stored on your device by the game. They are not uploaded to us and they are not copied between devices, even when you sign in. Deleting the app deletes them; Settings → RESET PROGRESS erases them without touching your account.

What leaves your device, and when

1. A guest player (Unity Authentication)

The first time you host or join a co-op session, open ALLIES, or open Settings → PRIVACY & ACCOUNT, the game signs in anonymously with Unity Authentication. Unity issues a random player ID (28 characters, shown in the Account panel with a COPY button) and, when you first use allies, a player name with a numeric tag (for example Warden#1234). Neither is tied to your identity unless you choose to sign in. The player ID is stored on your device so the same guest player comes back next time.

2. Sign in with Apple (iOS, optional)

If you tap Sign in with Apple, Apple's system sheet asks for your permission and hands Unity Authentication an identity token that links your Apple ID to your existing guest player (your progress is not touched). What we receive:

3. Google Play Games sign-in (Android, optional)

On Android the same link is made through Google Play Games Services. Google hands Unity Authentication a one-time code; Unity keeps your game-scoped Play Games player ID. The game suggests your Play Games display name as a player name. No e-mail address is received or stored. UNLINK removes the link; Play Games settings on your device manage the Google side.

4. Allies (Unity Friends)

When you use the allies list, Unity Friends stores, for your player ID:

5. Co-op sessions (Unity Relay)

Co-op traffic passes through Unity Relay, which sees the IP address it comes from for the length of the session. Relay does not store your gameplay.

6. Reports (Unity Cloud Save)

If you REPORT a player, the game writes the report — the reported player's ID and name, the reason you chose, where it happened, the time, the optional line you typed and your own player ID — into Cloud Save under your own player ID, where we read it. If Cloud Save cannot be reached, the game instead opens your mail app with the same details addressed to us. See the community rules for how reports are handled.

7. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. Google AdMob receives an advertising identifier, IP address, coarse device and app information, and interaction data in order to select and measure ads. Apple's SKAdNetwork may also receive install-attribution data. Duskhold does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, requests non-personalised ads, and does not track you across other companies' apps and websites. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

8. Technical data seen by these services

Like any online service, Unity Gaming Services and Google receive your IP address, device and app identifiers and basic diagnostic data when the game talks to them. Unity acts as our processor under Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy; Google under Google's Privacy Policy. Their servers may be outside your country.

How long we keep it

Deleting your account

In the game: Settings → PRIVACY & ACCOUNT → DELETE ACCOUNT, then tap again to confirm. This removes your player, name, allies, requests, blocks and presence from Unity, unlinks Apple or Play Games, and signs the device out. It works for guest players too. Progress on the device is not touched.

Without the app, or if something went wrong: follow the steps on Delete your Duskhold account. You will need the 28-character player ID from the Account panel; a name alone is not enough to identify you.

Uninstalling the app does not delete a guest account and cannot be reversed: a guest player that was never signed in cannot be recovered on a new install, and the only record left is a random ID with no personal data behind it.

Your choices

Legal basis

We process account and allies data because you ask for those features (performance of a contract); technical and security data in our legitimate interest in running a working, safe service; and advertising data on the basis of your consent where the law requires it. You may ask us at any time what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — the fastest way is the in-app deletion above.

Children

Duskhold is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created a player, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above. The Turkish and English versions say the same thing; if they differ, the English text applies outside Türkiye.
